Bus and Train Information

Go to oebb.at to check out trains and buses for the whole of Austria. The bus stop for Mountains View is Dorf im Pinzgau.

Trains go to Zell Am See where you can change for Mittersill. At Zell am See the local train waits for the connection.

You will find a bus Sunday - Thursday until 8.45pm returning from Mittersill and Friday and Saturday there is a moonlight bus until 4am

Ski Buses are free and run very frequently to Neukirchen, The Panoramabahen and The Zillertal Ski Area. The local bus stop is Dorf.

Christmas In Austria starts with lots of lights around the last week of November and continues through until valentines day. You will find celebrations in Mittersill from the first weekend in December.

Is a new local modern restaurant serving great Austria food in a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is located in Mittersill.

Attractions

Krimmler Waserfalle

The Krimmel Waterfalls are the largest in Europe and are both a Summer and Winter attraction. The Krimmel Waterfalls are Austria's only natural monument that has a European diploma.

Kristallbad - Wald Konigsleiten

Opened in winter 2007 and only a 10 minute drive or 15 minute bus from Mountains View you will find a swimming pool, sauna area (swim suits not allowed), massage and beauty.

Alpen Therme Gastein

A fantastic thermal baths located about 1 hour away from Mountains View by car. It features 6 famous health worlds including family world and sauna world.

Shops and Supermarkets

Supermarkets and Shops are closed through out Austria on Sundays. If you are planning to arrive late on Saturday night please be aware of this

In Mühlbach you will find a Tabac and a Nah und Frisch supermarket that is small but seems to fit everything in! Mühlbach also has a small restaurant and bar. It is about 10 minute walk from Mountains View

Mittersill offers ( 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bus ride) several supermarket, bakers, butchers, florists, banks, restaurants, pubs and lots more.
